Update for 2014
It has been over a year since I last posted an update on this site! I apologise for my laziness and hopefully I will be able to remedy that with some updates from the last year until now.
Much has happened since March 2013. Mainly my employment, I had decided upon a career change last year which pretty much put a fullstop to my detecting addiction! With more hours working and less time out in the field, I only managed 4 digs from March- December 2013. And only 2 from Jan-June!
Out of those six trips I was lucky enough to unearth one of my wish list finds, along with some nice Hammered coins and a couple of nice artifacts. More to come on those soon!
To cut a long story short, the career change didn't work out as I had planned..... But as they say "things happen for a reason". Everything has worked out better than I could have imagined and I now find myself in a career that I love and enjoy, and have more time to enjoy with my family and for feeding my passion (addiction), metal detecting!
As the weekends come I hope to get out and attend some club digs and also venture out onto my own permissions. The harvest is fast approaching and I am getting itchy feet at the prospect of carrying on from where I left off last year.
So until next time
Happy Hunting!!
